Tsitsikamma Backpackers is an Eco- friendly Backpackers Lodge situated in Storms River Village in the heart of the Tsitsikamma indigenous forest. The Lodge is set in a magnificent indigenous garden with unsurpassed views of the Tsitsikamma Mountains and surrounded by the forest. The Lodge accomodates 32 people in spacious dorms, double rooms and comfortable tented accomodation. The Lodge has recently been awarded a 4 star rating by the Grading Council and is managed by local staff along the principles of Fair Trade. It offers a spacious lounge, DSTV, an Entertainment area with Pool table, Internet facilities, Laundry facilities, two fully equipped self catering areas, Indoor and outdoor barbecue areas, outdoor Boma and fireplace, Volley Ball Court, Fully secure Parking, Daily local shuttles to major attractions and also offers all meals. Close to a number of attractions and activities including the world renowned Tsitsikamma Treetop Canopy Tour, the Woodcutters Journey, Mountain Bike hire, Snorkeling Gear hire, the Bloukrantz Bungy (the World's highest Bungy jump at 216m) Helicopter flips, Quad biking, Forest hikes, the Big Tree, Game Drives, Whale and Dolphin watching and 10 minutes away from the Tsitsikamma National Park for Boat trips to the Suspension Bridge. The rates are R90.00 per person per night for the Dorms, R240.00 per night for the Double Rooms and R190.00 per night for 2 people for the Tented accommodation.
