Regarded by many as perhaps the finest trout fishing destination in the country, it is entirely surrounded by Kwazulu-Natal Conservation Services wilderness area, and is home to prolific wildlife and rare waterfowl. Activities include angling for wild-spawned rainbow and brown trout, wilderness hikes and bird-watching for uncommon and rare wet-land species. Visitors are housed in well appointed, en-suite, self catering accommodation, but meals are available by appointment.
